E2C fees and Codex costs

What you pay E2C for, what your execution provider charges for, and which prices and terms are still undecided.

Your execution service remains separate

E2C does not resell agent accounts or model tokens. Where an E2C product uses a third-party execution service, you need your own valid access to a supported service and permission to use it. Purchasing E2C does not include that access.

Who charges for what

The plugin is free, but using a third-party execution service may still incur charges. E2C's paid app and the execution provider are billed separately, with each supplier responsible for its own transaction and billing information. A Codex subscription does not include the paid E2C app.

Pricing is not yet available

The desktop price, billing period, currency, taxes, payment methods, and purchase terms have not been confirmed. The chosen connection will also determine which third-party subscription rights, limits, or other charges apply. No price example should be read as an offer.

Understanding provider usage

For Codex access and usage, refer to the applicable OpenAI account information. Claude Code is provided by Anthropic; mentioning it here does not mean E2C supports it. Each provider sets its own charges, while the work performed, including how E2C organizes it, can affect the usage a task generates.
